Our Support team looks after our appointment schedule and will be the first smiling faces you see when you enter Distinctive Dental Care. They will be by your side throughout your treatment, remind you of your upcoming appointments and look after payment.

Karlee - Oral Health Therapist |

Karlee is always there with her huge (pearly white) smile, and sparkle in her eye! What we love so much about Karlee is her sense of humour and her no nonsense attitude. Karlee joined our team in June 2010, but she already feels like she has been a member of our family forever. She hails from Shepperton, Victoria, and has only recently moved to QLD. Karlee worked as a dental assistant before returning to LaTrobe University to graduate with her Bachelor of Oral Health Science in 2008. She is an avid house renovator in her spare time with her long term partner, and has two Golden retrievers that she cannot bear to be apart from, she has no children of her own.. (yet) but children are drawn to her like a magnet! |

| Pene - Practice Manager |

Pene become a dental assistant in 1995. Since then she has completed her Cert III in Dental Assisting, Cert 4 in Dental Radiography and Cert 4 in Practice Management. She is now completing her Diploma in Practice Management. This inspiring and super-efficient practice manager is married to Dr Makepeace and most often seen with her three children in tow. She works behind the scenes doing the merciless task of our business administration. Pene was quite athletic in her younger years, doing everything from rock climbing to dirt biking, she also loved playing netball, but now spends her spare time carting her two eldest children to their various extra-curricular activities, (including homework, Piano, Violin, Cello, Soccer, Basketball, Taekwondo, Nippers & Surf life saving) and raising her newest edition who was born february 2009. |

| Belinda - Practice Coordinator |

Young and fun-loving Belinda is loud and bubbly — so you always know where she is. This very focused and dynamic member of our team has completed her Cert III in Dental Assisting and her Cert IV in Dental Radiography. Raised on properties at both Dysart and in the local Bundaberg region, Belinda loves country music, rodeos and camping and fishing, but she can also turn her talented hands to scrapbooking and cross stitch. She is our youngest team member, but already has a mature head on her shoulders, she married in March 2010, spend her spare weekends renovating their home, and enjoys spending time there with her family and friends. |

| Jo - Hygiene Co-ordinator |

Brimming with energy, our ever-friendly Jo is very health-conscious and loves camping or going to the beach with her family. She and her husband travelled across Australia before choosing to settle in Bundaberg with their two daughters. She rears her own chickens, and brings in free range eggs for us all, and bakes goodies for our morning tea too! In her spare time she loves to renovate their home, or build furniture for her children. Jo has completed her Cert III in Dental Assisting, and has almost completed her Cert IV in Dental Radiography. |

Renee - Dental assistant |

Renee is very happy and relaxed, and she thanks having three brothers for that! She is married and has three children, and loves spending time with them. Renee was a Hairdresser(she loves to bring her hair straightener wherever we go and do all of our hair) until she sought a change of career and has enjoyed the challenges of learning Chair side assisting. She is currently completing her Cert III in Dental Assisting. You will find her chair siding with Dr Makepeace ready to help you whenever she can. |

Fiona joined us in 2011, and is one of our quietest members, so please take the time to meet her as she has a heart of gold, and quietly goes about the place. She got married in 2011, and we are all hedging our bets that she will provide us with the next DDC baby... |
