Our Support team looks after our appointment schedule and will be the first smiling faces you see when you enter Distinctive Dental Care. They will be by your side throughout your treatment, remind you of your upcoming appointments and look after payment.

| Pene - Practice Manager |
|
Pene become a dental assistant when the opportunity arose in 1995. Since then she has completed her Cert 3 in Dental Assisting, Cert 4 in Dental Radiography and Cert 4 in Practice Management. She is now completing her Diploma in Practice Management. This inspiring and super-efficient practice manager is married to Dr Makepeace and most often seen with her three children in tow. She works behind the scenes doing the merciless task of our business administration. Pene was quite athletic in her younger years, doing everything from rock climbing to dirt biking, she also loved playing netball, but now spends her spare time carting her two eldest children to their various extra-curricular activities, helping them with homework and looking after her newest edition who was born February 2009. |

| Cherie - Administration and Patient Coordinator |

Cherie's passion for people of all walks of life led to a 15-year career in journalism before she opted for a sea change as our friendly and caring receptionist. Raised on a cattle farm near Roma, Cherie has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Mass Communications and is a Justice of the Peace. She is an award-winning writer and continues to teach writing to Bundaberg children in her spare time. When not spending time with her husband and cat and their many in-laws, Cherie loves reading and writing, and indulging in yoga, belly dancing, photography and walking along the beach. And yes, coffee shops are the best place to write manuscripts! |

| Mella - Patient Educator |

Warm-hearted Mella is a qualified primary school teacher with many years' experience in the childcare industry so it's little wonder she loves children. Mella is a giving and generous team member of the practice and is our Patient educator in our MRC rooms. She has been with us since March 2008 and is a vital member of our team. She has a warm heart, and loves shopping- with a passion for all things girly. She is our 'Italian Chick' and loves cooking and eating, socialising with friends, watching DVDs and going to the beach or cinema. |

| Belinda - Clinical Coordinator |

Single and fun-loving Belinda is loud and bubbly - so you always know where she is. This very focused and dynamic member of our team has completed her Cert 3 in Dental Assisting and her Cert IV in Dental Radiography. You will find Belinda chair siding for Dr Makepeace, where even he admits he would be lost without her. Raised on properties at both Dysart and in the local Bundaberg region, Belinda loves country music, rodeos and camping and fishing, but she can also turn her talented hands to scrapbooking and cross stitch. She is our second youngest team member, but already has a mature head on her shoulders, she owns her own home, and enjoys spending time there with her family and friends and husband. |

| Sue - Dental Hygienist |

"Super mum" Sue skilfully juggles her hygienist career and an active social life with the full-time workload of looking after a loving husband and five sons, including twin toddlers. Sue hails from South Africa but immigrated to Australia two years ago for the benefit of her sons. She loves our glorious beaches, warm weather and happy, relaxed lifestyle. Sue is a kind and caring family-focused woman with over 15 years' experience as a dental hygienist. She loves spending time with her family, her very large network of friends and occasionally slipping away to the city for a bit of shopping. |

| Jo - Hygiene Co-ordinator |

Brimming with energy, our ever-friendly Jo is very health-conscious and loves camping or going to the beach with her family. She and her husband travelled across Australia before choosing to settle in Bundaberg with their two daughters. She is relishing the chance to renovate their new home, and spend lots of time camping with her family. Jo has completed her Cert 3 in Dental Assisting and is starting her Cert 4 in Dental radiography. Jo is our hygienist 'right hand man', and when you come in for your regular exam and clean, you will always find Jo there ready to brighten your day. |

| Miranda - Office Junior |

Quiet and unobtrusive, you will hardly even notice Miranda is here; she is our 'girl-Friday' and does anything we ask of her without complaint. Miranda is our youngest team member, and she is responsible for all of the 'little' jobs that nobody else wants, without her we would not be able to smile so much! Take the time to say hello to her as she is a vital member of our practice. Miranda is also starting to train as a Dental assistant, and will over the next few years become skilled in Chair side assisting. |

Renee - Dental assistant |

Renee is our newest team member, she is very happy and relaxed, and she thanks having three brothers for that! She is married and has three children, and loves spending time with them. Renee was a Hairdresser who sought a change of career and has enjoyed the challenges of learning Chair side assisting. You will find her chair siding with Dr Makepeace ready to help you whenever she can. |
